A sunny day for Africa: Weather cooperates for LR celebration

Sunny weekend days have been rare lately. Luckily for Africa Day Fest, it fell on a date when they skies were clear. And an estimated 7,000 to 10,000 people took advantage, braving high temperatures on May 25 to show up at the third annual free, daylong street festival -- a celebration of African arts and culture that took place on several blocks of south Main Street in Little Rock.
